AP Ed CET Results 2016

Sri Venkateswara University is getting ready to conduct the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EdCET 2016), which is scheduled to be held on May 23,  2016.

Many aspirants went into ‘rethink mode’ after the National Council for Teaching Education (NCTE) made the one-year B.Ed. into a two-year course from the academic year 2015-16. At a time when the funds-starved State government was dillydallying over regular conduct of District Selection Committee (DSC) and Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) tests to speed up recruitment, many aspirants turned reluctant to spend two years for the course.

Announcing the schedule, Prof. Kumaraswamy said EdCET would be conducted in eighteen city centres: Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Rajamahendravaram, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Ongole, Nellore, Chittoor, Tirupati, Kuppam, Kadapa, Proddutur, Anantapur, Nandyal and Kurnool (Telugu and Urdu medium). The last date is April 23 (without fine) and April 30 (with a fine of Rs.1,000). Details at www.apedcet.org and www.apsche.org.
