UGC NET Results 2015

University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test (UGC- NET) to be held on June 28 across the country for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Assistant Professor. The CBSE is conducting the test and the printout of the online application form should not be sent to CBSE.

The test will be conducted in 84 subjects at 89 centres in the country. It will have three papers, covering objective type questions in three  sessions.Top 15 per cent of the candidates from the merit list will be declared NET qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only. Those who have secured at least 55 per cent marks in master’s degree examination in the subjects concerned are eligible to appear for the test. Those belonging to OBC non-creamy layer/SC/ST/PwD categories require at least 50 per cent marks in the qualifying examination.

Upper age limit for JRF is 28 years as on June 1, 2015, relaxable up to five years for reserved categories. There is no upper age limit for Eligibility Test for assistant professor.
