The Telangana State Ed.CET-2015 (TS Ed.CET-2015) committee on Sunday met at Osmania University and decided to conduct the examination on June 6. A meeting to this effect was held by the Chairman of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Prof. E. Suresh Kumar, OU Registrar, Prof. S. Mallesh, Vice-Chairman, TSCHE, Prof. P. Prasad, convenor, TS Ed.CET-2015 and members from Osmania and other universities of the State.

The notification for TS Ed.CET -2015 will be issued on March 12, and that commencement of submission of the online application forms will begin from June 16.

Fee :  The registration fee for the exam is Rs.300, and for SC/ST candidates is Rs.150, which may be paid at any State Online/AP Online/ Mee-Seva/E-Seva centres in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.

The last date submission and registration without the late fee is May 7, and with a late fee of Rs.500 is May 21. Candidates can download hall tickets from website from May 31, and the tests will be held at Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Siddipet, Warangal, Jangaon, Khammam, Kothagudem, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubnagar, and Wanaparthy.

The detailed notification and instruction booklet will be displayed on the website on March 16. At the meeting, it was also decided that the duration of the B.Ed course will be two years, and that B.E. and B.Tech graduates will be eligible to pursue B.Ed with Mathematics and Physical Science methodology as choice of subject in the B.Ed course.
