Andhra Pradesh will conduct the Engineering and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) on May 8 instead of May 10 in view of clash of dates with other entrance tests. For the first time, an online option will also be provided for students along with the conventional mode of entrance test.
Andhra Pradesh has decided to hold Eamcet on May 8 instead of May 10. The decision was taken after thousands of students, who wanted to take Karnataka's engineering and medical entrance test on May 10 requested the state government to postpone the dates. that the EAMCET was rescheduled following representations from students and parents that it would clash with other exams such as Karnataka private colleges’ common entrance test, DSC.
