The GITAM admission test (GAT-2015) for admission into 10 B.Tech, 15 M.Tech, two dual degrees, B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy and Architecture programmes at its campuses in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Bengaluru will be held from April 20 to May 10. GITAM School of Technology principal and Dean Ch. Sanjay and Director N. Venu Kumar said that the online admission test would be of two-hour duration and would be held in 38 centres across the country including Karimnagar, Warangal, Nizamabad and Khammam districts.
The last date for submission of applications for GAT-2015 is March 31, 2015. The application forms are available at all the branches of Union Bank of India, Indian Bank and Karur Vysya bank in Karimnagar town. The application forms along with demand draft of Rs. 1,000 for boys and Rs. 600 for girls drawn in favour of GITAM University, payable at Visakhapatnam, should be sent to ‘Director, admissions, GITAM University, Hyderabad’. The GAT notification is displayed on the website www.gitam.edu. The results of GAT will be announced on May 16, 2015.
The tuition fee would be waived completely for the top 10 rankers of the examination for the first year and 50 per cent for those securing ranks between 11 and 100. K. Shiva Kumar, assistant director, admissions, was also present.
